Coach G’s been featured as a regular correspondent on CNN, Fox News, ABC News, and WTOP. He also writes a bi-weekly column in the Washington Blade and maintains his personal blog, “Coach G’s Corner.” On the non-profit side, Coach G has been involved with Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” Project, runs routine classes for low income families in the Anacostia area of Washington, DC, presented at the Center for American Progress headquarters, worked with the Girl Scouts of America, spoke at Walgreens Community health fair, and has continued his international wellness efforts with health lectures and workshops in schools in both Rome, Italy, and Accra, Ghana.
In 2014, Coach G was awarded Best Personal Trainer by the Washington Blade and was voted to have the best fitness class in the city, SWEAT, by the Washington Post. Coach G works with various types of clients including professional athletes, political figures, CEOs, active military, stay at home moms, the retired community, and even children. On his off time, he enjoys cooking healthy meals, singing off key, and staying in shape through basketball, spinning, and yoga.
